What is sh|ft
sh|ft is an acceleration and incubation program for impact projects that wish to bring positive change to society. We are a diverse community with a mission to invest in social entrepreneurs in the transformations of their ideas into sustainable businesses.
Why we do it
We are driven by the passion for a better future, and by the confidence that we can be part of the shift of our reality, as we dream, work and change together. We do it because the challenges are enormous, but we find in this community the courage, freedom and discipline to create the necessary change, step by step.
“There is no joy in possession without sharing” - Erasmus knew it well, and we believe it to be true for the small and big projects.
How we do it
As a community
It’s impressive when people come together with a common goal. At sh|ft, we promote innovation and creativity as we bring our network of specialised global leaders to the local needs. It’s in this diversity and sharing that true social impact can be created.
It starts with us
We focus on the capacitation and support of the future social entrepreneurs. We create a space of opportunity to provide theoretical and practical skills, supporting the process of growth of the initiatives created. However, we don’t forget that change must start with us, in an attitude of integrity and ethics that makes all the difference.
sh|ft is for…
… Entrepreneurs or teams with a solution that tackles a social and/or environmental challenge, with a local or global scope and that has an ethical and sustainable approach. This can be:
1. A mature Idea or product/service that can become a business (regardless of legal status)
2. Business in an initial stage

A Joint Venture
A Ponte is a dynamic co-work space located in Loures, Lisboa. We are committed to see successful entrepreneurs whilst serving with a work place that is innovated, capacitating and a networking community.
In the last five years, we have supported numerous business and social innovation initiatives, as well as creating a strong synergy between diverse partners.
